So my macbook kind of exploded.
I've been experiencing a few problems with my, now 2.5 year-old, Macbook Pro lately. The battery is dead, and my mac urges me to "Replace (it) Now"; I had some sort of drive error about three weeks ago which I got fixed at the Apple store, my CD/DVD drive is just a dent on the front face of the laptop - as it hasn't worked for the past two weeks, and today, it kind of blew up. I'm not sure exactly how this happened, as it was fine in the morning, but when I took it out of its case this afternoon, a whole corner of just bust out as if I'd dropped it - which I hadn't. What's worse is, I just got back from the Apple store and was quoted $1,300 to fix / replace the bottom face of the Macbook - $300 less than just buying a brand new one. Ugh.
